Announcement of the Executive Committee

Dear Friends of Playright, 

Playright Children’s Play Association (Playright) announces that Dr Josephine Jim Sau-har has resigned from her position as Executive Director for personal reasons. Her last working day will be 24 May 2026.   

The Executive Committee expresses its sincere appreciation to Dr Jim for her dedicated leadership and service. Stepping into the role at a critical juncture, Dr Jim provided steady guidance and made significant contributions to strengthening Playright’s mission and operations. The Board extends its warmest wishes to her in her future endeavours. 

To ensure continuity of leadership, the Executive Committee has appointed Mr Patrick Lee Pak-hang as Interim Executive Director with effect from 24 Mayil 2026. Mr Lee has been a long‑standing member of the Executive Committee and has served as Honorary Treasurer. His experience and familiarity with the organization position him well to assume this interim role. 

Dr Jim will support a structured handover process in the coming weeks.  Concurrently, the Executive Committee will commence a formal selection for a permanent Executive Director.   

We sincerely appreciate the partnership we have established, which has played a vital role in Playright’s development and progress.  Because of your sustained support, we have been able to expand our impact and reach communities in meaningful ways.  Thank you for your collaboration, and we look forward to working with you to create more play opportunities for children across Hong Kong.   If you have any enquiries or questions, please do not hesitate to contact Playright’s Communications Office.
