Children in Hospital

Play is essential to all children. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, more children may experience hospitalization or isolation. There are different emotions and reactions associated with these experiences. When they return to the society upon discharge from hospital, they may need appropriate psychosocial support for recovery and normalization. In view of this, the hospital play specialists from the Playright hospital play team designed this playful booklet “Wawa is discharged!”.

Emotional Support.Playful Booklet

To increase the impact, we package play materials with the playful booklet. Through the story and play activities in this booklet, children and families can reconstruct their experiences of hospitalization and understand about their emotions. Parents can choose the play activities to fit the physical and psychosocial needs of their children. It is intended that they go through the processes together, thus supporting each other to return to their normal life as quickly as possible.
